Zinc, copper and aluminium facades for Brisbane architecture — designed in 3D, formed on our own line at Coombabah, and installed by the same people who made them. One hour from the city, no supply chain in between.
Most Brisbane cladding is specified from a catalogue, ordered from a supplier and fixed by a third party. Euroclad compresses that into one accountable line: we import the coil, model the facade in 3D shop drawings, roll and fold every panel at our Gold Coast workshop, and install with our own crews. When a junction is difficult — a curved parapet, a tight soffit return, a heritage interface — it is solved by the people who will physically fit it.
That matters most on Brisbane's harder briefs: character-home additions where the new skin has to sit quietly beside 100-year-old timber, riverfront apartments with wind and salt loads, and commercial facades where the architect has drawn something no stock profile covers.
Brisbane is not one environment. Inner suburbs and western sites sit in a benign atmospheric corrosion category; bayside and elevated exposed sites are materially harsher. We assess corrosion category per address before recommending a metal — never by postcode alone.
| Metal | Character | Where it suits in Brisbane |
|---|---|---|
| Zinc | Self-healing patina, matte blue-grey deepening over time. 50+ year service life in appropriate zones. | Character additions, galleries and homes where a living, non-reflective surface is the point. |
| Copper | Warm through russet to verdigris. Exceptional longevity — a 100+ year roof. | Landmark and legacy projects; entries, feature walls, curved roofs. |
| Aluminium (PVDF) | Colour that does not move. Lightweight, self-protecting oxide at cut edges. C4 as standard; C5 severe marine under the Euramax Diamond Coastal warranty specification. | Bayside and exposed sites, large facades, renovations where structural load matters. 40+ year service life. |
| Coated steel (Unicote Lux) | Broad colour palette at a lower entry cost than non-ferrous. | Budget-conscious commercial and residential work in sheltered inland zones. |
Double-lock and single-lock, concealed fixings, long continuous pans. Roofs and walls, curved or tapered.
The slimmest architectural metal wall — flush, four-sided folded panels, horizontal, vertical or diagonal.
Concealed-fix trays with a recessed express joint. Crisp shadow lines, fast on large elevations.
Traditional profiles for pitched roofs and feature walls where the seam is part of the language.
Custom screens, privacy panels and facade perforation patterns cut in-house from your file.
Flashings, cappings, box gutters and one-off details drawn to your junctions, not a catalogue's.

| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 · Site & material | Corrosion category assessed for the actual address. Metal and system shortlisted against exposure, budget and design intent. |
| 2 · Specification | Panel widths, seam direction, substrate and membrane build-up documented. Use the Specification Builder to start this yourself. |
| 3 · Shop drawings | Full 3D model of the facade, including setouts, flashings and terminations. Issued for architect and builder sign-off. |
| 4 · Fabrication | Panels roll-formed and folded at Coombabah. Laser-cut elements produced on the same site. |
| 5 · Installation | Euroclad crews on site in Brisbane. No handoff to a subcontractor who did not make the panels. |
| 6 · Handover | Warranty documentation, maintenance guidance and as-installed detail set. |
Yes. Every panel is manufactured at our Coombabah facility on the Gold Coast and installed across Brisbane and South East Queensland by our own crews. Brisbane is roughly an hour from the workshop, so drawings, forming and fixing all stay under one roof.
Most inland and inner-Brisbane sites sit in a C2–C3 corrosion category, where zinc, copper, aluminium and coated steel all perform well. Bayside suburbs and elevated exposed sites move toward C4, which favours PVDF-coated aluminium or copper. We assess the corrosion category for your actual address before recommending a metal — try the Material Advisor for a first read.
Yes, and it is one of our most common briefs. Flat-lock and standing seam panels give a slim, quiet skin that reads as a distinct new element rather than competing with retained timber. Panel width, seam direction and finish are all set to suit the existing building and any character overlay conditions.
Both. Architects and builders typically engage us at documentation stage for shop drawings and specification support; homeowners usually come to us with a design already drawn. Either way the same team runs the job.
