InterlockingPanels

Cassette-type · 5–20 mm recessed seams
All Systems
Manufactured & Installed by Euroclad

Interlocking panels bring cassette precision to metal facades: flat panels with recessed seams adjustable from 5 to 20 mm, installing top-to-bottom with every fixing hidden inside the joint. The result is a taut, panelised skin with crisp negative lines.

Fixed to top-hat sections, the system covers large walls fast, runs vertically or horizontally, and suits every metal we fold — including UniCote Lux timber looks for warm panelised facades.

Technical note — oil canning

Slight waviness ('oil canning') is an inherent visual characteristic of all flat-pan architectural metal, not a defect. We minimise it through panel-width selection, substrate preparation and tension-levelled coil — talk to us about matte finishes and narrower pans for critical elevations.

Questions, Answered
How do interlocking panels differ from standing seam?

Standing seam expresses raised joints; interlocking recesses them. If the design language is negative shadow gaps and flat panelisation — closer to composite panel aesthetics but in solid metal — interlocking is the system.

Do you manufacture and install?

Yes — both. Every panel is roll-formed and folded in our Gold Coast workshop, and installation is carried out by our own trained teams, not subcontracted. One point of responsibility from shop drawing to final flashing, backed by QBCC (1283171) and NSW (276164c) licences.
